What’s the difference between natural and synthetic fragrance?
Natural fragrance is nature, bottled—pure plant extracts, essential oils, resins and botanicals. Synthetic fragrance is lab-created and often hides dozens (or hundreds) of chemical ingredients under the word “fragrance,” including known allergens and endocrine disruptors.
Is your perfume natural?
Yes—every drop. We craft our scents entirely from flowers, fruits, botanicals, resins, woods and essential oils. No synthetics, no mystery chemicals—just clean, botanical beauty.
What makes People of Eden different?
Our perfumes are powered by plants and perfected by nature. We use ethically sourced botanicals and plant-based musks, and even ferment Australian wine grapes for our alcohol base—a sustainable, skin-loving alternative to synthetics.
Longevity & Shelf Life
Will natural perfumes last as long as regular perfumes?
Natural perfumes evolve on your skin—expect about 5+ hours of wear, gently fading into your body’s warmth. Reapply to pulse points throughout the day for an intimate refresh.
What’s the shelf life of your perfumes?
Because we use no synthetic preservatives, enjoy your scent within 12 months of opening. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep it fresh and radiant.
Usage & Safety
How should I apply People of Eden perfume?
Apply to clean, dry, moisturised skin at pulse points—wrists, neck, inner elbows and behind the ears. Don’t rub your wrists together; let the fragrance bloom naturally in a quiet ritual.
Should I do a patch test?
Yes—especially if you have sensitive skin or are new to natural fragrance. Dab a small amount on your inner wrist or elbow and wait 24 hours before full use.
Is it safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Our perfumes contain no synthetics, phthalates or parabens, but we always recommend a patch test and, if in doubt, checking with your healthcare provider.

Can I return my fragrance?
Happiness guaranteed or your money back. If you’re not completely in love, we’ll make it right.
What’s your return policy in a nutshell?
Return timeframe: within 14 days of delivery
Eligible: 50 mL bottles (unopened & unused)
Not eligible: 10 mL perfumes, Sets & final-sale items
Gifts included in your order must be returned unopened or their value may be deducted
Return shipping: at your own cost (unless we made the mistake)
Can I exchange my fragrance?
Due to the nature of our products, we don’t offer direct exchanges. Instead, return your eligible 50 mL bottle for credit and choose a new scent.
What if I received the wrong item or something faulty?
Email us at info@peopleofeden.com.au within 7 days with a photo and description. We’ll make it right and cover any return shipping if it was our error.
