Skin & fragrance for the health conscious & the self-indulgent.

FOR TODAY AND EVERYDAY

Our Story

People of Eden began in 2021, in a moment when the world had become unusually still.

Its founder was twenty-two, pregnant with her first son and standing at the threshold of several new lives at once: marriage, motherhood and a legal career interrupted before it had properly begun. Against the uncertainty of the pandemic came a heightened awareness of the body, the home and the quiet choices that shape how we live.

Fragrance soon became part of that questioning. Conventional perfume, once an uncomplicated pleasure, no longer felt aligned with a life becoming increasingly conscious of ingredients, exposure and wellbeing. The search for an alternative led, almost providentially, to natural perfumery and to the discovery that scent could be both beautiful and intentional.

What began as experimentation became a new language. People of Eden was born from it.

Our Heritage

At the heart of People of Eden is a worldview shaped equally by Lebanese heritage and Islamic faith; two threads that, for its founder, have always been inseparable.

In Islam, the body is understood as an amanah: a trust to be cared for with intention. The earth, too, is entrusted to us. We are asked to move through the world with gratitude, restraint and an awareness that beauty should never come at the expense of wellbeing or the natural
environment.

These values are not abstract principles
within People of Eden. They inform the way each fragrance is conceived, formulated and presented. The brand’s reverence for nature is also deeply Lebanese.

Its founder’s family comes from a village
where the landscape is not merely scenery, but part of daily life. The scent of the earth, the changing seasons, flowering trees, herbs, woods and resins belong to the rhythm of home. Nature is experienced intimately; through food, hospitality, ritual and memory.

It is from this cultural inheritance that People of Eden draws its character: warm, layered, generous and grounded.

The Art of Natural Fragrance

People of Eden creates fine fragrance through a more considered lens. Each perfume is composed using natural and thoughtfully sourced materials, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, transparency
and care. Formulations are vegan and cruelty-free, and packaging choices are guided by a commitment to reducing unnecessary harm.

Yet the philosophy of the brand extends beyond what is absent from each bottle. People of Eden is not simply an alternative to conventional perfume. It is an exploration of what fragrance can become when it is created with greater consciousness. When luxury is defined not by excess, but by intention.

Scent is treated as a ritual. Something worn
close to the body. Something capable of holding memory, marking change and returning us to ourselves.

The First Chapter

The brand’s first two fragrances, Twenty-Two and Her, emerged from the season in which People of Eden was created.

Twenty-Two takes its name from both the founder’s age and the year of its conception. It is a portrait of transition: of identities shifting, plans dissolving and an entirely new life beginning to take shape.

Her is a tribute to the resilience of women. Their ability to adapt, endure and emerge from difficult seasons with a strength that is often quiet, but never insignificant.

Together, the two fragrances form an intimate first chapter. One remembers transformation; the other honours the woman transformed by it.

Future creations will continue to look towards the founder’s Lebanese and Islamic heritage, exploring materials and scent profiles long associated with the region: musks, woods, resins, florals and
notes that carry both softness and depth. Not as nostalgia, but as continuation.

The Meaning behind Eden

The name People of Eden is inspired by the
people of Paradise. It speaks to an aspiration rather than a destination: to live with beauty, gratitude and responsibility; to honour the body, protect the earth and move through life with greater awareness.

The “people” in People of Eden extends beyond its founder. It includes those who create each fragrance, those who wear it and those who believe that beauty can be both luxurious and considered.

It is a collective identity built around a simple idea: that the things we choose to bring close to us should reflect the values we wish to carry into the world. People of Eden is fragrance shaped by memory, culture and faith.

Rooted in nature. Made with intention. Created to remain.
