6.2 People of Eden will endeavour to respond to privacy complaints within a reasonable period following receipt of the complaint.
7. Breach
7.1 Pursuant to section 26WE(2) of the Privacy Act, if we suspect that there has been an eligible data breach, People of Eden will conduct a reasonable and expeditious assessment within 30 days.
7.2 If People of Eden believes or has reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach then a statement will prepared setting out:

the kind or kinds of information concerned; and

recommendations about the steps that we will take in response to it.
7.3 If practicable, People of Eden will advise the contents of the statement to each of the affected purchaser who may be at risk from the breach. If this is not practicable, we will publish the statement on our site and take other reasonable steps to publicise its contents. Communications with purchasers will be via their preferred communication method.
